Annex V. Question wise Comments:
Question No 1
All of participatory organizations said that the initial needs assessment of the displaced communities was conducted within a week of the onset of flood.
Question No 2
Of the agencies interviewed, 80% provided humanitarian assistance within 2 weeks of initial assessment.
Question No 3
Of the agencies interviewed, 100% were able to deliver Shelter/NFI within 2 weeks of emergency.
Question No. 4
Of the agencies interviewed, 80% agencies were positive with the Emergency Shelter Cluster facilitation. .
Question No. 5
From the interview with IDPs, 72.5% indicated that needs assessments were undertaken within one week, 15% within 2 weeks and 5% within 3 weeks.
Question No. 6
Of the IDPs interviewed, 100% indicated receipt of Shelter/NFIs from different agencies. Shelter box's/units were provided by Rotary International, Plastic Sheet (Heavy duty) and blankets from NRCS, sleeping mats from World Vision International, kitchen set from Marwardi Sewa Samiti, Rotary International and Save the Children, and warm shawls from UNFPA/WDO and IOM/NRCS.
Question No. 7
Out of the IDPs interviewed, 52.5% indicated above mentioned items were not sufficient to meet their needs where as 27.5% highlighted the amount of kitchen set, sleeping mats and blankets are inadequate.
Question No 8
Of the IDPs interviewed, 55% were aware of the return package (e.g 50,000Nrs, toolkit, ration).
Question No 9
Only 20% of the IDPs were aware of the home tool kit included in the return package.
Question No. 10
Out
of the IDPs interviewed, 57.5% indicated they would no invest any
amount in home construction or repairs. However, 15% indicated they
would invest up to a maximum of 20% with only 17.5% indicating they
would invest up to 50%.
