Appointment to the Posts of Junior Hindi Translator by Transfer on Deputation/Transfer basis.


Applications are invited from the Central Govt. officials for filling up the posts of ‘JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR’ by Transfer on deputation/transfer in Survey of India offices located at stations as mentioned on Annexure-I. Eligibility conditions/ qualifications etc. required for the post are mentioned in Annexure-I. Nominations not accompanied by the requisite personal data as per Annexure-II (Curriculum Vitae) will not be considered. The Curriculum Vitae (As per Annexure-II) duly supported by documents will be assessed by the selection committee while selecting candidates for appointment to the post on deputation basis. Candidates selected for the post will not be permitted to withdraw their names later. The pay of the selected officials on deputation basis will be regulated in accordance with the Department of Personnel & Training’s O.M. No. 2/29/91-Estt.(P.II) dated 5th January, 1994. The applications completed in all respect alongwith attested copies of certificates, mark sheets etc. duly signed and filled in the format (Annexure-II) should reach the Addl. Surveyor General/Director of the concerned GDC within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. The application not received within the stipulated time will be summarily rejected.

9. Eligibility conditions : Transfer on Deputation/Transfer from amongst Central Govt. Officials holding:-

i) analogous post on regular basis; or

ii) Post in the scale of Pay of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2400/- & having 3 years regular service in the grade; or

iii) Post in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 1900/- & having 5 years regular service in the grade.

AND

b) possessing educational and other qualification as laid down for direct recruitments:-

Master Degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English, with English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level.

OR

Master Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English, with Hindi and English as Compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level.

OR

Master Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English, with Hindi/English medium & English/Hindi as a Compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level.

OR

Bachelor Degree of a recognized University with Hindi/English as Compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a Compulsory/elective subjects, plus a recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English & vice-versa in Central/State Govt. Offices, including Govt. of India Undertakings.
