This Guidance Note sets out examples of the plans that should be submitted with your application. All plans must have the scale clearly marked and any measurements must be in METRIC.

PLAN 1: Site Location Plan
This SHOULD show the application site outlined in RED. Any other adjoining land that you own should be outlined in BLUE.

PLAN 2: Block Plan
This should show the proposal in relation to the site boundaries and other buildings within the site, as well as roads and adjoining buildings outside the site.
The plan SHOULD be at a scale of 1:500 OR 1:200 and should show the extent of the proposed works.

Plans can be purchased from the Planning Portal Website www.planningportal.gov.uk

PLAN 3: Elevations
These SHOULD be at a scale of 1:100 OR 1:50 and should show all sides of the property as EXISTING and PROPOSED. Where it joins onto another property, that property should be indicated.
