Along with notes from the previous counseling, this step should include subsequent documentation, as well as the fact that continued violations may result in further corrective action up to and including discharge.

Final Written Warning:
Along with notes from prior counseling and written warning, this step should include subsequent documentation, as well as the fact that additional violations may result in termination. 
NOTE
Although a suspension constitutes the same step in the corrective action process, it is normally recommended that is not be used for availability infractions.

Termination:
If any of the above guidelines are exceeded, given the appropriate sequence of corrective action steps, the staff member should be terminated.

Redemption
A six-month period with no additional unscheduled time off and tardies will result in the removal of all attendance-related disciplinary actions and previous unscheduled time off and tardy incidents. Corrective action must be addressed separately, one for unscheduled and one for tardy.
