Helpful Information For Using

The Verse Library.pdf

Step 1: Find the Verse Library.pdf file on your computer.

When you downloaded the document it should have been placed on the Desktop (In the Verse Library Files folder). If you downloaded some of our templates it should have been placed in that corresponding folder.

Step 2: Double click on the file to expand it.

The file should automatically open up using Adobe Reader (if it is installed on your computer).

**We recommend that you go to www.adobe.com and download the most resent version of the reader software. There should be a link (button) that states ‘Get Adobe Reader’. The reader software is used to view .pdf files.

Step 3: Select and Copy text from the file.

The Verse Library document contains 32 pages, 31 of those pages containing verses. If you are looking for a particular verse that we use you can search for it in the Index page on page 32 (the index page contains links to the actual verses, so you can click on the verse in the index page and that will automatically bring you to the page where the verse is). Once you find a verse to use you can highlight the text you want, copy it and then paste it in to one of our templates. You may need to adjust fonts or the size of the type but it can be as simple as that.

**In order to select text in the file you must use the Adobe Select tool. After the Select tool is active you can copy text out of the PDF. The Select tool looks like this for Windows Users using Adobe Reader 7 (you can see the box near the hand tool that says ‘Select’ in it with the pointer and the I figure):
