The BACnet^® CD

Purchase of the BACnet CD licenses the purchaser to use the program and data on a single machine. The license also allows the purchaser to copy the program and data into any machine-readable form for backup purposes on a single machine in support of his or her personal use of the program and data. You may reproduce, with acknowledgement, selected portions in print form of data specifications, in free educational materials, and in manuals, texts and communications used and distributed exclusively within your company.

To accommodate additional users of the software employed by the same company, ASHRAE offers a Multiple User License.

In purchasing a Multiple User License from ASHRAE for the BACnet CD, the purchaser recognizes that the title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights in the program and data shall remain in ASHRAE and/or its supplier. This product is protected by copyright laws and treaties. This license gives no rights to content. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the program and data is with the purchaser. In no event will ASHRAE be liable for any damages including and without limitation, any lost profits or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the user inability to use this program or data.

The number of users indicated below is in addition to the single user license, which accompanies the CD. The multiple user fee does not include purchase of the BACnet CD.
