Defines the reasons for applying for a Variation Order and explains how the variation will enable the achievement of corporate strategies and objectives.


This should include;

  • Why it is necessary to vary national terms and conditions including an outline of the circumstances surrounding the issue and the frequency of the issue.

  • Details of any local recruitment and retention problems, geographical factors or service reconfiguration issues.
