Mon – Friday 9:00 – 17:00
Some evening and weekend work for meetings

6. JOB FUNCTION:
1. Undertake a focussed detailed themed research projects into community groups and identify any trends or needs to inform discussions and decisions around longer term strategic objectives
2. To develop strong links with local and national social research professionals to support the work of the organisation.

8. RESPONSIBILITIES:
8.1 Gather and analyse key information and data from many channels and sources using qualitative and quantitate approaches. Having analysed information produce clear, accurate and straight forward reports and where appropriate produce recommendations based on the outcomes.
8.2 Work in partnership with voluntary, community, public and private sector organisations to develop relevant research criteria for projects. Work with these groups to undertake research and share in an appropriate format and setting
8.3 Work with HF teams to support them with community based projects enabling the teams to make informed decisions in relation and to deliver their objectives with maximum impact.
8.4 Use skills and knowledge to support charities working in areas of interest to the Heritage Foundation to enable all partners to understand the challenges facing their clients and/or the community.
Take a collaborative and flexible approach by working in partnership with teams across the Heritage Foundation to get the job done.
Work in line with corporate policies and procedures to ensure that all matters relating to health and safety are adhered to, promoted and reviewed as necessary.
Maintain the culture and values of the business, provide ethical working practices that support corporate policies and procedures relating to bribery & corruption.

10. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Degree in Social Sciences or Research based Degree e.g. Maths/Statistics/Market Research
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and database systems.
Knowledge/Experience of undertaking community based research and engagement
Very high levels of attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of designing, developing and following process.
Preferred but not essential Driving License
