About Our Online Services

We now offer an online service for our patients so you can book your GP appointments and order your active repeat prescriptions online at your convenience.



Online Appointment Booking

You now have the flexibility to book and cancel your appointments from home, at work or any location with internet access. You don’t need to queue at the practice or wait on the telephone and you can manage your appointments outside practice opening hours.

Request Your Repeat Prescriptions Online

Request your repeat prescriptions quickly online by logging into your account and simply ticking the appropriate boxes. You can review the progress of your repeat prescriptions.

Patient Registration Form

To register for this online service please complete the Patient Registration Form (with this leaflet) and return it to your practice in person, along with a valid form of identification, for example photo ID or your passport. Once you are registered the practice will give you the information that will enable you to create a username and password.

Click on the “Register” button and using the information the practice has provided activate your account and complete your Registration. Remember you must “activate” your account.


It’s that easy.

Information You Should Know


E-mail Addresses

When completing the Patient Registration Form the e-mail address that you provide will receive confirmation of appointments and repeat prescription requests only. No one will be able to access your online information via these e-mails. No login or password information will be accessible and you cannot respond to the e-mail’s you receive. If you do not wish others to see your confirmations please provide a secure private e-mail.



Numerous Accounts

On occasion it will be necessary for families to have numerous accounts as each individual is required to register separately. Therefore, parents wishing to order repeats and make appointments for children will have to register each child individually. You will only be able to see that individual child’s appointments and repeat prescriptions at any one time.



Children Aged 11 to 16

Children between the ages of 11 and 16 will be considered capable to have their own individual registration when they put in a request. No child will be issued with a registration until they request one personally. All previous registrations held by parents will be cancelled when a child requests their own registration.


Appointments

Only GP appointments can be made online and you are restricted to 3 appointments in any 3 month period. If you require more that this you can still phone or visit the Practice to make additional appointments. If you continually do not attend your online appointments or abuse the system in any way, this facility will be withdrawn.



Repeat Prescriptions

Only your repeat prescription items will be available online. Previously prescribed medication can still be requested via the messaging option upon submission of your request. Remember, admin staff will be able to view this information. Although you’re GP will make every effort to ensure you have access to the medication when it’s required you may still be asked to attend the Practice to review your medication.


Registration Requirements

You are required to attend the surgery with a completed Registration Form and two forms of ID, one of which must be photo. If registering for incapacitated family members you must remember to bring their ID together with your own and a signed Registration Form.


Parents are required to bring their own ID when registering children under the age of 11.
