New trailer tyre completes Conti Hybrid tyre family



Hanover, 12 May 2016. The trailer tyre Conti Hybrid HT3 385/55 R 22.5 completes Continental's Conti Hybrid range, which was developed specifically for combined use on regional roads and motorways. In addition to the outstanding mileage and fuel efficiency that characterise all the products in this tyre family, the Conti Hybrid HT3 385/55 R 22.5 offers optimum wet-grip behaviour. The trailer tyre has been awarded with the EU label "B" thanks to its reliable handling during braking on wet roads. With specially developed rubber compounds, Conti Hybrid HT3 385/55 R 22.5 can also help to achieve ambitious fuel saving targets.


The new tread compound of the Conti Hybrid HT3 385/55 R 22.5 provides maximum mileage. The optimised combination of the rubber compound in the tread, the special fuel-saving sidewall and an improved groove geometry reduce fuel consumption by 6%. The long-term fuel savings potential of the Conti Hybrid HT3 385/55 R 22.5 mean that it was also awarded EU label "B" in the "Fuel Efficiency" category. Like all Conti Hybrid tyres, the Conti Hybrid HT3 385/55 R 22.5 trailer tyre can also be retreaded. Newly introduced regrooving indicators in the tread profile make it easier to perform regrooving properly in order to achieve additional mileage with minimal rolling resistance.
