CONSULTANTS TO THE PROJECT PROFESSOR TAIEB BELGHAZI TAIEB BELGHAZI


 Taieb Belghazi is Professeur de l'enseignement supérieur in the department of English, Faculty of Letters, University Mohamed V, Rabat, Morocco.
He completed a PhD in critical and cultural theory at the University of Cardiff (UK) where he was a Chevening scholar, as well as degrees from the Universities of Rabat and Fes. He then held a Fulbright post-doctoral research scholarship at Duke University.

Taieb Belghazi holds a professorial fellowship at the Ferguson Centre for African and Asian Studies at The Open University, London (http://www.open.ac.uk/Arts/ferguson-centre/index.html) and participates in Cultural Studies programmes in the Universities of Fes and Rabat).

He is a member of the editorial board of Time and Society (Sage Publications) and member of the UNESCO-sponsored International Panel on the Reading for All Program.

His main research interests are social movements, the phenomenon of Le boulevard des jeunes musiciens (Music festival in Casablanca) and the politics of memory.
