My Website will be an E-Commerce Website

My Website will be an E-Commerce Website. I will be “selling” sewing stencil designs. These are sewing stencils that I have been creating since I was younger. My mom taught me and over the years I have created several of them. I have books that help me create more, upon request. My company name will be “Stephy G’s Lucky Creations”.


I chose two websites that their designs may inspire my website design. One is the http://www.bulldogsoftimberridge.com/. I like home page layout. It has its logo on the top with a photo underneath it. Then it has its navigation links. My page of course will not have as many links and the photo (if any) will be smaller. I also like how in the rest of the pages, the same layout is used for each page. The other website is http://www.daniellesplace.com/index.html. What I like about this website is the navigation links. They are very simple and straight to the point. Each page is also very simple and gets straight to the product. I want my webpage to have the same simplicity.


My website will contain my Home page, Products page, Company Location, Contact page. My Home page will have a description of what I am selling. It will have a couple of pictures of some of the things I have produced. It will have navigation links to all the other pages. My products will show the different designs that I could make. It will show the options people have to choose from. I will show some other material that has already been made. It will also have navigation links to all other pages. My Company Location page will just show where my work station is. Explain that I work from home and have a couple of pictures of my work station. I will also provide the city I live in. This page will also have navigation links to all other pages. My Contact page will be in the same format as the other pages. However this will be in contact form (like our Assignment 11). People will be able to request which design they would like me to make for them. All my pages will have the same two-column layout.


For my website, I am considering using the container so I can have space on the sides, repetition so all my pages will have the same layout, proximity so I can make certain images as one unit. To make sure that not everything is overwhelming and confusing, I am incorporate adequate white spacing.


My site logo will be an image that I will create. My background color for the whole website will be #990000 and the text will be #FFFFFF/Comic Sans MS. I am also going to incorporate a clover image as the background [repeat-y left].
