Please note that Roscommon County Council may make nominations to the All-Island Pride of Place Competition on a village/town/parish basis. Therefore, all applicants should ensure that a wide variety of groups are represented. Applications received from different groups in the same town/village/parish may be judged as one.

NOTE: The winners in each category of the County Roscommon Pride of Place 2021 competition will be nominated by

Roscommon County Council to the All-Island Pride of Place competition organised by Co-Operation Ireland.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the All-Island Pride of Place Competition cannot take place in its usual format. Community groups that are entered into the All-Island Pride of Place 2021 competition will be asked to submit a detailed written submission (a template for submissions is available). Community groups will be judged on their detailed submission and will also be provided with an opportunity to elaborate on their submission. Judging will take place between July and August (format to be confirmed). Nominated communities will receive advice and assistance from the Liaison Officer if required.
